Selection of light distribution :
In crosswalk lighting design, accurate selection of appropriate light distribution patterns is key. Common light distribution modes are Type I, Type II, Type III ,and Type IV.
The type I light distribution pattern is suitable for lighting narrow passages or walkways, such as the side of a crosswalk.
Type II light distribution mode is suitable for lighting wider areas, such as the lateral range of crosswalks.
Type III light distribution mode is suitable for lighting wider areas, such as intersections or squares.
Type IV light distribution mode is suitable for lighting long and narrow areas, such as the longitudinal range of crosswalks.

To optimize crosswalk visibility and safety, lighting design should take into account the following aspects:
1.Lighting intensity: Lighting intensity should comply with road lighting standards to ensure adequate lighting for pedestrians on the crossing. Appropriate lighting intensity can improve mutual visibility of pedestrians and drivers and reduce the risk of accidents.
2.Light distribution uniformity: The light distribution pattern should have good uniformity to ensure that the entire crosswalk area is properly illuminated. This helps eliminate shadows and confusion, providing clear visual information.
